Who Should Join?

Our members are independent, locally owned businesses and non-profit organizations that are committed to building a strong community and thriving local economy. 

Please take a moment to answer the following questions to determine if you qualify for a business membership:

1. Is your business located in Washington DC?

2. Is your business privately held (not publicly traded)?

3. Does more than 50% of the business' ownership live in the Washington Metropolitan area?

4. Do you operate independently from a large corporation and have the autonomy to make decisions about the business and its purchasing, operations and distribution, including the name and look of your business?

5. Are you interested in modeling environmentally and socially-responsible business practices?
